Instructions
Melt butter in a large pot, whisk in flour to make a roux, cook 2-3 minutes until golden.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and half-and-half, simmer 3-5 minutes until thickened.
Add chicken, sausage, beans, corn, and chilies; stir to combine.
Stir in spices and seasonings; simmer on low for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in shredded cheese until melted; serve hot.
